Happy 4th!!

Happy 4th!! 😄 I know I'm a day late, but yesterday was a very busy day. So this is the first chance I've had to actually sit down and type up my posts.











We had a fun-filled day with family. We started off going out to breakfast, just the three of us (soon to be four!). Elayne really enjoyed getting some pancakes and making goofy smile faces.

Afterwards, we headed over to my parents’ house for lunch and pool time. It was a very casual day, filled with lots of food (as my family tends to do) and a ton of splashing and swimming. Elayne is really starting to get comfortable in the water, which is incredibly scary, as she thinks she can actually swim…but she can’t yet. Her swim lessons are helping, but she seems to think she can be left alone in the pool without being held or having any sort of floating device. It was very funny, and also a bit stressful 😂

And, of course, I made the desserts for the family get-together.
For this 4^th of July, I made a Patriotic Cream Cheese Ball and some Red, White, & Blue Pinwheel Cookies. They were both big hits, and I will definitely make them again in the future.
