Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!! 😊 I hope everyone had a fun and enjoyable day today!



Our Easter definitely didn't turn out the way we planned this year. We had planned to host Easter at our house this year. We were going to have a bunch of family over for brunch, egg hunting, and hanging out. But... Stomach bugs or viruses have hit our house hard lately. Elayne and I have both been sick twice within the last several weeks. And this week, Tommy finally got it. My in-laws are in town and staying with us, and they started to get sick too.

So, no big family get-together for us this year.
But we made the best of it. We still made brunch for us this morning. And of course, the girls got their Easter baskets.

And Elayne did about a million egg hunts today.
After the initial few egg hunts, she decided she wanted to hide the eggs herself…and then find them all herself too 😂

Even though it didn’t turn out as expected, we still had a fun day. Hopefully next year we’ll be able to do a big get-together with family, and have a really big egg hunt.
