Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!!
I hope everyone had a fun Easter holiday.

We spent the day with family.









Our day started with just the 4 of us. The girls got up and got their Easter baskets. Then they hunted eggs and ate cinnamon rolls.
Elayne had fun looking for eggs; Nicole didn't really get into it. It didn't help that she had a cold and just wasn't feeling all that great. But she did at least enjoy going through her basket and eating candy. 😄
Then the kids and Tommy got to chill and hang out while I cooked and got ready for the rest of the family to come over.

We had my parents, sister, and grandmother over for brunch. And, as my family typically does, we made way too much food. French toast casserole, biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, fruit, chia seed pudding, muffins, deviled eggs, mimosas.
And, I made some Easter Fudge.

And after brunch, we played outside for a while and hunted more eggs.

And of course, we dyed eggs a couple days before Easter. Elayne had been asking to dye eggs for weeks. She absolutely loves it.
And, we got a surprise visit from the Easter bunny too. Elayne was very excited; Nicole, not so much. She was very unsure…
